Remain(s)

A video dance and ongoing project

Music: Falling - I can't see

Intolerable yet tolerated. like scratching over and over the same mosquito bite you got a week ago. On the edge of tolerance, a dancer’s body is dancing its inability to dance.
The dancing body is perceived as a strong, flexible and potentially omnipotent. What happens when a dancing body loses its capacities? What kind of dance will it dance? The only one it can dance. The dance of incompetence, a surrendering powerless dance. If it cannot dance it can fall. Over and over again. falling down as it is falling apart.

Remain(s) Is also an extension of the continuous artistic collaboration between Hanna Krebs and Shiraz. Through their research, they seek to create a physical expression of the burned out body and the ill body.
